Burnout, Brainstorms & Board Games: My Chaotic Productivity Day

So today was... a lot.

I finally sat down to plan content for my gaming channel—something I’ve been meaning to do for weeks. I got sucked into YouTube search, digging through keywords and stats like a little data goblin. Honestly? I probably spent way too much time on it. And what did I end up deciding? Four videos that are basically just slight variations of each other. Groundbreaking.

I did the same thing for my main channel, and it kind of felt like I was just spinning in circles. Four freaking hours just to plan one month of content. Like girl, no. That should’ve been an hour max. Make something, get it going, tweak it next month. Perfection can wait.

Small win though—I did a quick dive into short story structure. Just enough to get the basics and bounce. So yay, progress?

Also narrowed down the characters I want to draw to a list of twelve. That sounds productive, right? Except I spent half the time second-guessing everything because I low-key want to draw all of them. Classic me.

Oh, and I planned all our June date nights. For the first one (going out), I’m doing that cute trend where you write two options for each category—dinner, dessert, activity—and your partner picks without seeing. Chaos, but make it fun. For our stay-at-home ones: we’ve got a Minecraft night, a movie/show binge night, and I really want her to teach me to sew. Like, properly. (Costumes? Naughty stuff? Who knows.) She’s gone the first week, so I threw in a backup: a silly little truth or dare board game night. Could be cute. Or mildly disastrous. Either way, I’m into it.
